 Kesar mangoes, also known as Gir Kesar, are a premium variety primarily cultivated in the foothills of Girnar in Gujarat, India. They are renowned for their vibrant saffron-colored pulp, sweet taste, and aromatic fragrance. These mangoes are medium-sized, oval or round shaped, with a thin, yellowish-green skin that develops a pinkish blush when ripe.

Kesar mangoes thrive in tropical and subtropical climates with temperatures between 24°C and 35°C. 

They require ample sunlight and warmth. 

Well-draining soil with good fertility is ideal (sandy loam or loamy soils). 

Regular watering is important, especially during dry periods and fruit development. 


Culinary Uses:
Kesar mangoes are excellent for fresh eating due to their sweet and aromatic flavor. 

They are also used in a variety of culinary applications, including juices, jams, desserts, and savory dishes.
